Ms. Draupadi Ghimiray, founder of Sikkim Viklang Sahayata Samiti receiving Padmashree from the Honourable President of India Shri Ramnath Kovind for her distinguished service in providing comprehensive service with the persons with disabilities.

Sikkim Viklang Sayata Samiti received National Award on 3rd December 2017 for the best institution in Sikkim, india working for Divyangjans. (Dr.) Mrs. Savitri Hamal received the National Award on behalf of SDSS from the Hon’ble President of India in New Delhi on the occasion of World Disability Day 2017.

On 21st March, 2016, Miss Droupadi Ghimiray, founder of Sikkim Viklang Sahayata Samiti was awarded “Bhaorao Devras Seva Samman” at Hindi Sansthan, Ghaziabad by Honourable Kendriya Mantri Gen. V. K. Singh and Dr. Mahesh Sharma.

 In the year 2005, Miss Droupadi Ghimiray, Project Director & Founder of Sikkim Viklang Sahayata Samiti received “State Award” from the Government of Sikkim on the occasion of Republic Day for her meritorious service.
